Our Wedding

Like all great modern love stories, theirs began the old-fashioned way… over Instagram DMs. But this story actually starts a decade earlier, when both Paige and Robby attended the University of Texas. They were in the same friend group, appeared in the same photos, and yet somehow never really spoke. Fast forward thirteen years — Robby was in Texas and had recently become interested in all things health and wellness. Paige was in NYC and had just launched PaigeMatthewsWellness on Instagram. Robby’s friend Drew asked him: “Who’s crunchier, you or Paige Matthews?” This led Robby to Paige’s Instagram, and with a serendipitous jaunt to Long Island coming up, Robby casually slid into her DMs curious to learn more about holistic nutrition. He asked her to coffee, tried to upgrade it to drinks (politely declined), and they landed at Soho Butler in August 2024. Neither of them expected it to be anything more than coffee between two old friends. Two hours flew and it quickly it became clear that this was something different. Yet still, they went their separate ways - Paige thinking, maybe I’ll see him in another decade, and Robby thinking, play it cool. A month later, Robby invented a business trip so he could return to NYC, which turned into a rendezvous between the two filled with dinners, late night dancing, and a quick realization that things were about to get serious. From there, it was long-distance calls from Houston to New York, a reunion in Aspen, and a week on Lake Travis that sealed the deal. By February, they had moved in together. By May, they were engaged. Paige was back in Texas, and the rest is history, y’all. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you at the Bowery Hotel in the town where it all began!

Traveling to NYC is easy and you can choose to fly into any of the city's major airports: LaGuardia Airport (LGA)Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) Each offers convenient access to downtown Manhattan, and you’ll find plenty of transportation options upon arrival. The easiest way to reach The Bowery or nearby hotels is by&nbsp;taxi or uber&nbsp;(typically 30–60 minutes, depending on traffic). If you’re staying at&nbsp;The Bowery Hotel, it’s located at&nbsp;335 Bowery in the East Village.

Transportation

Our wedding will take place at The Bowery Hotel in downtown Manhattan. We would love for our guests to stay at the Bowery to make the weekend feel extra special — it’s a beautiful, intimate hotel that captures the magic of the city. Because the hotel is small, they do not offer room blocks, and availability is limited. We recommend booking early if you’d like to stay on-site. Please note that the hotel typically requires a four-night minimum stay in April; however, guests have often had success booking a three-night stay by calling the hotel directly
